HARVEST INITIATIVES JUBILEE- DCC- October 17th 2025
It was a great joy to celebrate 25 years of impact of Harvest Initiatives' evangelism and holistic mission initiatives among vulnerable communities, under the theme: Jubilee of Hope, 25 Years of Faith and Transformed Communities for a Prosperous Burundi.
The launch of this event was held on April 26, 2025, at the Karubabi Missionary Center, coinciding with the completion of the training on Evangelism at the Margins for 58 pastors from local partner churches.
During the jubilee year, Harvest Initiatives was able to celebrate the harvest with local partner churches through a 16-week national evangelism campaign, with the participation of 241 local churches and 3,400 evangelists trained and sent out two by two, house to house. Together we were able to reach 189,519 people with the Gospel, among whom 44,013 gave their hearts to Jesus Christ.
Three celebrations took place in Gitega, Makamba, and Ngozi.
The main jubilee celebration was held on October 17, 2025, at the Donatus Conference Center, preceded by a jubilee week opened by a press conference, followed by the 10th anniversary of the Karubabi Community Development Center and the 15th anniversary of the Karubabi Harvest School with the graduation ceremony for the 4th graduating class.
The Lord has done great things for us; we are filled with joy. Psalm 126:3.
