10th_Anniversary of Karubabi Health Center & Mothers Day
On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Karubabi_Muramvya Mission Center/#Gitega Province, it was a special joy for the #Abimubi_of_Christ family, doctors, and the entire community, especially Mothers and children, where the #Abimubi_of_Christ_family was celebrated for the 4th time, which coincided with the celebration of 10 years that the clinic has been caring for the community to have good heart and lung health.All these activities were organized with the aim of celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Harvest Initiatives's work in Burundi.
The Director of the clinic reported that there has been a big change where at the beginning of 2015 people were rushing to the clinic and receiving less than 1200 patients per year, but now due to the evangelistic work, and the encouragement of the counselors, the clinic is now visited by more than 19,000 patients per year, including those from very far away. The event was attended by 437 mothers pThe #Health_Area_Director in #Muramvya also announced that he is interested in the work of the organization Harvest Initiatives in the public health sector, and requested that they expand clinics in the area.The event was marked by testimonies, games by counselors that encouraged parents to get tested for pregnancy, vaccinate their children and learn about the concept of family separation.
